White party, July 2024
Our traditional white party, with pool & pizzas, was held on 22nd July 2024 – some 50 guests and lots of fun. The figs are ripe, and the lavenders are ready for cutting, the pool is 29C degrees and the sangria is perfect. What more can one wish for? Some stayed long into the night, some opted for a hike down to the city. Welcome back next year, friends!
Lovcen, July 2024
Lovcen is just an hour and a half away from the villa, and it is a sacred place for the Montenegrin people. Their most known (and most wise) leader is buried here, and the views are breathtaking. So are the roads and the pin-turns to get there. Or you can take the gondola. Silvija, Andreas and 4 kids, July 2024.
Ulcinj Beach, River Bojana, July 2024
This is a short road trip our family did in 2024. We took a 3-day trip to Ulcinj, 3 hours from Herceg Novi (and from Trebesin, where the villa is) to once again spend 3 days in the most amazing river on the Mediterranean sea. River Bojana is the 3rd largest river flowing to this sea, after the Nile and Po, and it is clear and clean. We live in stilt houses here, and spend the afternoons on a 13km long beach, perfect for kiting and chilling. Highly recommended. Silvija, Andreas and 4 kids, July 2024.
Alison, from UK, July 2024
We had a wonderful holiday here. Two families of adults, with plenty of room for all 10 of us. Beautiful view from the house and especially from the lovely pool. Easy to get to with a car and lots to do nearby. Alison and family, from the UK, July 2024
Lisa, from UK, July 2024
Wow, this place absolutely exceeded our expectations! Each room was immaculate and fully equipped and the communal areas were perfect for our family of 10. This was by far the best holiday we have ever had, the infinity pool, outdoor kitchen and views just made every day amazing.

Marko, from UK & Finland, June 2024
It’s easily the nicest family villa we’ve ever stayed at! The pool, the views, the terrace, the BBQ area, the apartments, the kitchen in the common area – it all adds up to a perfect place. We hosted a large BBQ for over 50 people on one of our days. Silvija was extremely accommodating, professional and understanding of our needs. The team delivered an amazing BBQ with food that our guests all loved. Milena in particular is an incredible host and was immediately helpful for anything we needed, even rushing up to fix the Wi-Fi after a storm had hit the area. We also used other services (e.g. a boat trip) which, again, was managed perfectly with clear communications and great value. We’re already planning our return as a family in the years to come. Thank you Silvija & Milena for everything.

Paulina, Sweden, May 2024
We had a fantastic time! The house is beautiful and well taken care of, view spectacular and all outdoor space with the pool perfect for socializing. Milena took fantastic care of us and was always available for any kind of question. Fantastic service! Would recommend and hope to come back.

Milena, local family, June 2024
Sometimes our own friends have to try the pool! Early June is warm but not too warm, and the pool is perfect. The barbecue is always at hand, and our kids get to rule the place.
Jippe, 12 guests, friends from Netherlands, June 2024
Five stars! Amazing villa with beautiful views and comfortable stylish rooms. Host was very friendly and helpful. We found the place even nicer than in the photos. Thanks for the great stay!
Alix, 12 guests, with family and friends from England, May 2024
We absolutely loved our stay at Boka Fig Village. The accommodation is stunning and really well equipped, the gardens terraces and pool areas are amazing. Located slightly up in the hills so you get far reaching views of the bay however only a short taxi down to the amenities, restaurants, Old Town and harbour of Herceg Novi. We downloaded Viber and it was easy to order taxis, food deliveries and make reservations etc. Milena the host was incredibly helpful on the lead up to our stay and on hand for any questions whilst we were there Highly recommend and thank you for a great stay.

Paul & friends, July 2023: views
Peaceful with an incredible view over the Bay of Kotor, and only a 15 minute drive from the town centre. 🙂 Paul from Australia, July 2023
Silvija, Aug 2023: Mamula Dinner
A small group of good friends at an unforgettable dinner at Mamula Island’s newly renovated hotel. The sun deck has the best views in the world. Unforgettable.  Silvija from Norway, August 2023
Silvija, July 2023: Catovica Mlini
Every year we must take a trip to Catovica Mlini, for a family dinner. If possible, for our wedding anniversary on July 29th. If not, whenever. The trip there is as beautiful as the place itself. The food is good, but the atmosphere is great. It takes 20 minutes by car, or 50 minutes by boat, from the villa. Silvija from Norway, July 2023
Silvija, July 2023: Pool Party
We had a great pool party with 10 kids in the pool at the same time – splendid and splashing! And pizza and watermelons afterward 🙂 Silvija from Norway, July 2023
Silvija, August 2022: White Party
We had a white party with 60 close friends playing from 4pm until late into the night. We wanted to test the simplest catering setup- and ordering grilled meats and salads form MarCo was great. Buy lots of drinks, and make lots of ice, and find someone who knows how to whip up a decent Sangria – and you’re set. Silvija from Norway, August 2022
Andreas, July 2018: Trip to Mirište
Our usual trip to MiriÅ¡te for a swim to the monastery island, and a hike to Arza fortress. The water is always crystal clear here, and the small fish always keen for breadcrumbs. Try setting up camp at the beach by MiriÅ¡te or simply on the boat. You can’t enter the monastery unless you have enough clothes on. Andreas from Norway, July 2018
Andreas, Aug 2018: Tara Rafting
Rafting on river Tara with all of our 4 kids (youngest is 5 years old here) and our friends from Norway. We made it a two day trip, in the Camp on the other side of the border. Highly recommended. You can drink the water straight from the river. And the water is deliciously cold. Andreas from Norway, August 2018
Andreas, Aug 2018: Mamula Island
A half-day trip to Mamula Island, as it was before the big switch. Beautiful, wild, and empty – except for a few wild rabbits and us. The contrast of white stone to a very blue Adriatic is stunning. So are the huge cacti, so take hiking sandals if you are swimming in. Andreas from Norway, August 2018
Andreas, Aug 2018: Daytrip to Kotor
We usually go by boat, but the buses are OK too. You can go with “Pajo”, and also catch the island monasteries. It takes an hour from the villa. A very nice, very old, very hot fortress city. Especially if you try climbing the city walls. Andreas from Norway, August 2018
Øystein, July 2022: Nevidio
Nevidio Canyon offers a cool trip through one of Europe’s last conquered canyons. Its name translates to “unseen” and describes well this natural wonder. Nestled in the heart of the Durmitor mountain range, it is characterized by its narrow passageways and dramatic rock formations, some of which constrict to less than a meter wide.Â
